Different Strokes is an American television sitcom that aired on NBC network from May 1978 to May 1985 and was later taken up by the ABC network and it aired for another season, September 1985 to march 1986. The sitcom ran for a total of 8 seasons with 189 amazing episodes. The sitcom, different strokes was created by Jeff Harris and Bernie Kukoff and featured two black boys, Gary Cole and Todd Bridges as Arnold and Willis Jackson respectively, two African American boys from Harlem taken by a rich white businessman and his wife. Coleman, Bridges and Pluto became known for their special episodes portraying serious issues such as Racism, illegal drug use and many more. The show became popular and is one of the best of its time. it has been over 20 years; the show is still remained enjoyable.
