Amos 'n' Andy - Kingfish's Secretary (1951)

KINGFISH'S SECRETARY The Kingfish, flush with money willed to the Lodge Hall by a departed brother, decides to improve the place by hiring a beautiful secretary. The secretary, Daphne Jackson, also acts as a public stenographer and, in this capacity, she types a letter for Mr. Williams, who is answering a matrimonial ad. She leaves the letter on her desk and the Kingfish, thinking it's a letter he dictated to an employment agen-cy requesting a scrubwoman, signs and mails it without reading it—a move that causes him not just a little em-barassment.
