It's time for Darrin (Dick York) to meet his mother-in-law, Endora (Agnes Moorehead)! How bad can having a witch for a mother-in-law be?

From Season 1, Episode 4 - Darrin returns home for his first meeting with Endora. Endora and Darrin soon engage in a heated argument about their opposing viewpoints on life. Endora threatens to turn Darrin into an artichoke. Later Samantha expresses her love for Darrin by announcing that if Endora had done so, she would also have turned herself into an artichoke.
